From My Audition Getting Me Accepted Onto An Upcoming Hip Hop Competition Tubi TV Series

I might be a “new rapper” to some, but I’ve been studying the all time greats in Hip Hop, from larger than life 80’s and 90’s rappers, to the biggest names from the 2000’s, silently perfecting my craft, patiently waiting for these moments I’m finally getting to enjoy. My early years were spent freestyling, battle rapping and songwriting, of course. But the whole time I was subconsciously trying to do what I’d far later become cognizant of: reverse engineer all my favorite aspects of these artists, then fuse them together, meshed with my own character of delivery, as I strived to make a sound that I could confidently call completely organic, and my own. It’s been about 8 years now since that goal became undeniably achieved. I haven’t always had my head on straight, but I’ve grown ridiculously, for better or worse. I’m the Saiyan warrior who just turned away death by only an inch, while training ferociously in the hyperbolic time chamber for as long as his body could handle, plus an extra hour for good measure because… competition. And I’m humble, have no doubt, but when it comes to this sacred realm of Hip Hop… I couldn’t possibly take it more seriously.. And anyone who dissects my verses syllable by syllable will be able to see that’s no cap like Krillin. Now show me my opponent. Look, I’m halfway kidding, but I’m not.

A FRIENDLY INVITATION TO ALL MC’S BELOW

I don’t think I’m better as a person than anybody but those of us in our 30’s and up can remember a time when hip hop was about your penmanship, what you brought behind that microphone, and how you moved that crowd. For me, competitive fire has always been at Hip Hop’s essence. So, within reason, and in accordance with how quickly my schedule allows me to get to these, I’m right now, on a whim, gonna make a commitment to going bar for bar on a song with whoever wants smoke. I don’t care who it is. I truly don’t. Hell, you may even win, but there’s not a should alive who would just disrespectfully wipe the floor with me, I’ll say that much… Yes, even him. Win or lose, it’ll always be close, and I’ll always be a worthy opponent. Hopefully I end up getting some emails regarding this. Looking forward to it. And it doesn’t matter, same song, or put one out against me and I do the same to you. Just let me know. My emails at the bottom of every page.
